Fiona is a Registered Nurse with over 40 years' experience. She qualified as a general nurse at The Royal Infirmary Edinburgh and as a midwife at The Rotunda Hospital, Dublin.
After specialising in trauma and theatre nursing, Fiona worked in hospitals in London, Edinburgh and South Africa and was then Matron of a private hospital in Johannesburg.
Fiona founded Northwood Nursing & Care Services in 2000. Under Fiona's leadership the agency has built a strong reputation for providing professional, people centred care.
After his graduation, Simon worked in recruitment for a number of years before joining Northwood Nursing in April 2010. Simon oversees the management of Northwood Nursing ensuring that we at all times are providing excellence in care.
Simon personally interviews all candidates wishing to work for Northwood Nursing to ensure that only those with a genuine passion for care are selected to join our team.
Annette qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in Birmingham in 1989, and after working both within Spinal Cord Injuries and Care of the Elderly she went into management. She has been the Operations Manager of Care Homes in Stockholm, Sweden for the past 10 years before relocating back London in September 2016 when she joined Northwood Nursing and Care Services Ltd.
Annette's responsibilities include clinical governance in order to provide excellence in care, Service User assessments and reviews, staff professional development and wellbeing, general day to day management of the office and provision of care.
Sarah qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1982 and has worked in the NHS and private sector. Her experience includes Accident and Emergency (eight years) and caring for people with high dependency needs.
Sarah joined Northwood Nursing in June 2011. Sarah's responsibilities include assessments, clinical support and training of our work force.
After qualifying and working as a dental nurse for 20 years, Rita joined Northwood Nursing' in August 2002 as a Health Care Assistant.
In 2008, Rita was invited to join our office staff, and now works as a Senior Care Coordinator and Field Care supervisor.
Natalie joined Northwood Nursing in January 2017 as a Care Coordinator. Natalie has a Master's degree in Psychology and Occupational Psychology and has 7 years' experience working in the care sector.
Natalie's responsibilities include scheduling Service User's care rotas, identifying suitable Carers for Service Users and working with other members of the team to ensure excellence in care.
Lyn joined Northwood Nursing in November 2017. Her previous role was ‘Accessibility Coordinator’ at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and prior to that Lyn was a ‘Non-Executive Director’ for a housing association. Lyn has a passion for the care sector and cared fulltime for her husband for 15 years. Lyn ensures that our Carer’s training is up to date and screens our Service User’s care plans before they are sent to ensure they are detailed and accurate.
Ann qualified as a Personal Assistant, and worked in administration for the Civil Service.
Ann's previous roles were as a Housing Officer for many years and as a Sheltered Housing Manager.
Ann joined Northwood Nursing and Care Services Ltd in May 2017. Her duties are primarily recruitment and other administrative duties.
